The current budget for the cake creation is $153.49 (plus or minus a few dollars). For the exact budget we need to further elaborate on the details of the project like EXACTLY how large this cake will be and its proper dimensions etc. We need to create a plexiglass barrier around the cake but the details were very vague so I estimated about $20 for this barrier.
Please check over the quantity of items I have in the budget. I estimated about 48 people would be eating this cake when I considered the forks, knives, plates. If the cake is supposed to feed more than 48 then the budget should be recalculated to accurate figures.
I was a little confused about what the dixie cups were for? This is why there is a question mark on the budget.
I also didn't incorporate the costs of the signs into the budget because I am not quite sure how to give an estimate for that.
If anyone can find cheaper prices; by all means inform the class. Since we're all paying for it out of our own pockets I am sure we all went to spend the least amount possible. Print out the list and if you find something cheaper then inform us on the blog or in class.
